About the Artisans
Behind every piece is a person, a place, and a tradition carried forward through time.
We work directly with artisans from Jalisco, Oaxaca, Guerrero, Chiapas, Guanajuato and Puebla regions where craftsmanship is deeply embedded in everyday life and cultural identity. The techniques used to create each object have been passed down through generations, learned through observation, practice, and shared knowledge within families and communities.
Each artisan brings their own rhythm, materials, and perspective to the process. Clay is shaped by hand and fire, wood is carved with patience, stone, marble and leather are worked slowly, and textiles are woven thread by thread. Variations in form, texture, and finish are not imperfections, but reflections of the human process behind each piece.
Our relationships with artisans are built on respect, transparency, and long-term collaboration. We believe in fair practices, ethical partnerships, and in honoring the time and skill required for handmade work.
By choosing these pieces, you recognize the value of craftsmanship and the knowledge behind each object. Each purchase represents a fair exchange that respects the time, experience, and craft of the artisans, allowing their work to travel and be appreciated in homes beyond their place of origin.
